Accessing or Renewing Your Accommodations

Your accommodations are approved. What next?

Once your accommodations are approved, you can use to renew your accommodations and notify your professors each semester.

Students should complete a Semester Request at the start of every semester.

Students at the School of Law will receive specific information about accessing accommodations in their program and do not need to submit Semester Requests. 

Please complete your Semester Request as early in the semester as possible to be sure your professors are aware of your accommodations. The process only takes about five minutes.

If you have not yet been approved for accommodations, the Semester Request will not be available to you. If you would like to seek accommodations for the first time, please submit the . 

How to Complete a Semester Request

1. Go to  and select “Student.”

2. In the sidebar, select “Accommodation” and then “Semester Request."

3. Choose “Add New.”

4. Choose the semester from the drop-down menu.

If you want to use all your accommodations in all your classes, choose “Submit for All Accommodations.” (Most students choose this.)

If you only want to notify some of your faculty or don’t want to use all your accommodations, choose “Review the Request.”

5. If you choose “Review the Request,” use the checkboxes to select the courses where you would like to use each of your accommodations.
