Common Student Holds

There is a hold on my record... what now?

Here is a list of the most common holds found on student records, along with who you can contact to resolve the hold. 

How to check your record for holds:

  1. Log into my.udmercy.edu
  2. Navigate to "Student Profile" on the Self-Service -- Student menu.
  3. On the top banner of your profile is a "Holds:" link. There will be a number shown next to Holds: if you have an active hold on your record. 
  4. Click the "Holds:" link to see more details.

P2 Public Safety Hold-Level 2 Student received a parking tickets and must pay fee in order to register or obtain a transcript. publicsafety@udmercy.edu 313-993-1500

SA Student Accounting Hold Student has a balance and  will not be able to register until balance is below $1,500 studentaccounts@udmercy.edu 313-993-1420
